With all the threads at the moment talking about PD130 v ...... and tech talk, talking coming in about turbos. And re-maps and going into limp mode.

It has all got me wondering if I could put a PD130 turbo on my PD100?

yeah they will fit, but some are actually cast as part of the exhaust manifold so you would need that too, also there are slight differences in the exhaust downpipe so you would need to swap that over too...

other than that it is a direct fit

It's a direct fit because I've done it, including using the 130 injectors. 100PD exhaust downpipe bolts straight onto the 130 turbo/exhaust manifold too.

If you're after the upgrade of a turbo. Then got for a PD150/160 turbo whilst half way there. You'll need to upgrade the manifold and injectors anyway. Plus get your MAP sorted out at the same time, otherwise it'd run like a pig
