new car leaking water after car wash

Featured Replies

took my 2 month old fabia for a wash at the local hand wash place. when i got home and opened the drivers door there was water and soap on the door sills so i checked everyother door and they were the same.

when it has been raining i've noticed a few drops of water but nothing too scary.

i've read other threads about door seals but i thought they would be fixed.

the car wash people use jets guns but i had no problems in my other (much older) cars.

what can i do or is it a garage job ?

Sounds like the very common problem on Fabias of the door cards leakings.

Water on the sill is fine. If it is resting on the rubber seal and the bottom of the interior trim on the doors are wet you need to inform your dealer for warranty work to be done.

I had both rear doors repaired under warranty.
