Are these Brake Pads & Discs Any Good ????

Featured Replies

Don't know if they are any good, but seems very cheap.

Try doing a search on google for reviews.

Dont know about the particular fitting, but Mintex supply lots of braking kit. The stuff I have used from them has been very good.

Chris

Mintex == Pagid == Texar == TMD Friction (all the same company)

The mintex pads are good, but I have no idea who makes the discs in that set, also make sure the pads are the right size as I think they may come in more than one size.

That is about the same price as GSF for Brembo discs & Pagid pads.

EDIT: Just noticed they are 312mm discs, do you have a VRS?

Yup! vRS

I would just go get a quote from GSF as you have no idea of the condition of the brakes in that box. IMHO it will probably cost the same, esp when you collect from GSF as posting a set of 312mm vented disks isn't going to be cheap since they are heavy as f**k.

i allways use mintex, at that price you can complain really, but then you get hit for postage too remember!

I agree mintex are good Tom, as i said PAGID (OEM) == Mintex == Texar and all are made by TMD friction.

I would be more worried as we have both said by postage cost and also any possible damage to the discs or pads that may occur on their way to you from this place.

The price really doesn't look any cheaper than GSF, especially when you put in the price of postage.
