When can I expect a delivery date on my Octavia? It was ordered early September and I was told then (and recently) that the estimated delivery date is early december. At what point do people get an actual delivery date?

BTW, it's awkward for me as the car is through work to keep ringing up asking as it has to go through work, then another company before it gets to Skoda.

Any way of finding out who the dealer is, then you can pester them to your hearts content :P

IME the dealers don't have much more idea to be honest, once the car is built its an estimate to how long it takes to reach the docks then to sail and then from docks to dealer, when my car was built i was given a date that changed by weeks then days, Then it ended up 3 days earlier than the earliest it could posibly be:rofl: so just sit tight.

mmm, I was given an estimate of three weeks, but only told for sure when it had actually arrived at the docks!! then told another week for it to be ready....

Maybe, but it was ordered in August. It should have been ready late this month originally.

I cant see why you can't contact the dealer direct? I ordered mine through my companies lease car scheme, and I pestered the dealer regularly, and even went to sit in it 3 weeks before the lease company could be arsed to hand it to me...

It doesn't work like that here for whatever reason. Our Transport Co-ord find out about it when it reaches the dealership, then the lease company move it to Transport Co-ord, they inspect it, then hand it to me. About 7 days apparantly from it arriving at the dealership. Will have to see.

Kinda wishing I had gone for the 944 S2 now, but then my sensible head talks me back out of that again.
