Installed a Sony GTX-GT300S HU int my Fabia.

Old Atrac3 CD's and MP3 discs work without any problems.

New Atrac3 or MP3 CD's all report an error and cannot be played.:confused:

Tried the Sony reset button on the front of the HU but still not working with the new cd's:(

anyone else came across this problem and if they have what was the fix??

my sony had a few problems, ie not ejecting discs....disc error etc reset button should technically work! tried to disconnect the HU? or maybe the way your burning the cds? cd rw? erm cant think of much other than that.... sorry:P

it could be.

1. the brand of cds being used

2. the program you are burning them on the disk with

3. the type of cd media, cdr's or cdrw's

best thing is to try other disks and programs

Have tried several different brands of disc, different software and also different computers to burn the discs.:(

the old discs that have been used since the unit was fitted work without any problem using the same software and media. :confused:

will try removing the HU over the weekend and see if removing the power altogether sorts the problem:rolleyes:
