The Fire Force Funny Car Dragster exploded, think it was fireworks night just after starting its run!!:eek: :eek: :eek:

I've looked on the Santa Pod website and the bloke got out unharmed F*** knows how!!

Fireproof overalls did the job...........

it took them ages to clear and clean the track afterwards and pretty much stopped the evening :(

Looks like driver error to me, he'd deployed the parachute before he launched! perhaps the extra drag was enough to overstress the engine? not to mention set fire to the actual parachute and cords.

nomex three layer suit helped i think , might even be more layers for that kind of motersport

oh my god!! I watched the vid before I read the bit saying he got out alright!!

That jet car is awesome though...the noise...and the fumes....it smells ace too...
