Help - Insurance for mods

Can anyone recommend insurance companies that will cover modifications.

My wifes Fabia vRS arrives in 2 weeks. The strut brace, airfilter and PD160 intake are waiting in the garage along with a dragon tuning box for when its run in.

Use the search function, there's plenty of info available. Largely due to everyone having to insure with some company, and many members having made mods! Adrian Flux, Chris Knott and Greenlight spring to mind as fairly 'mod friendly'. But you may find that many of the more normal insurers will cover changes like those you've mentioned.

I found Direct Line had a good attitude to mods.

aircon not working , i bought the car last september and the dealer serviced it and said they had regassed the aircon system, the air con does not cool the air .any thing i can do or is it back to the garage time <they only gave a 3 months warranty .>

New car whats missing from the boot?

I have just bought a 2020 First Edition 1.5 SE L Estate and in the boot I cannot work our what is missing from the side of the boot, looking at the manual and photos online, the sides of the boot seem to have one complete panel that is removable with a little handle in the middle of it. Mine seem to have these fixed ones with little cutouts in them, I’m guessing they are meant to have something in them, and on the left, there is also a strap for something. I have the boot with the two levels

I have an Octavia mk3 2015 with the 1.2 liter petrol engine, and it has recently started making some strange noises. I suspected it had something to do with the AC system since the noise stops when I shut it off, but i also noticed that when the noise is happening and AC running the internal light also flicker very slighlty, which made me think the problem might be with the alternator, its pulley or the belt. Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the

We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever
