Hi,

I bought a full set of Osram Silverstar bulbs for my octy and followed the instruction to remove the headlamp on the passenger side just fine but the driver side headlamp only moves forward slightly when i pull the lever and doesnt seem to release properly. Am I doing something wrong? Also, when I put the passenger headlamp back it seems to be sitting lower in the hole than it was before?

They can be very stiff to remove. Best bet is to pull the lever and also the light fitting together it will come eventually.

As for the passenger one it sounds like you have missed the locating slots underneath. I did that, easily done.

Thanks for the help - I managed to change all the bulbs on the weekend (even the foglights) - albeit in the rain - but the headlights are in line with how they were before and now slide in and out easily when I want them to.

How did you do the foglights?

Do you need to remove the 2 outer grilles to gain access?
