Does Anyone know where the flasher unit is on a Tdi Elegance? The indicators on the Skoda aren't working properly and I can't for the life of me work out where the flasher unit is. I have a Haynes Manual but as usual I can't find anything in there to help me?

I think its part of the hazzard warning unit.

Is it an octy?

If so you replace teh hazard switch behind the red triangle.

It is a 5 minute job and the part is pretty cheap. If your old one makes a proper mechanical clicking noise it has been superceeded with a newer part as they were failing quite a lot.

Got mine changed under warrenty a long while ago now.

- Carefully remove black plastic surround.

- Pull out old hazard switch + relay on it

- Put in new part

- Put plastic surround back on

- Test

- Hopefully done
