hi guy, i have a 2001 fabia 1.4

my probleme is that my engine has no power at all, i know that it's a small engine

but it should run better that that .

at first i thougth that it was cause of the clutch so removed it and it was ok. (no clutch probleme).

and on top of that my fabia unnormaly consumes a lot of gaz that not good at all

low engine power + high consumption = Im in hell

did any of you guys incounter this prob before ? please someone help me out

i 've realised that in the fabias technical problemes are related, im saying that maybe the prob im facing now, is do to some other malfonctioning component in the car. (i dont know really)

first thing would be to get the fault codes read from the ecu.

if your fuel consumption is high i would suggesy changing the coolant temperature sensor...

also give the trottle body a good clean, this will make the poor running better
