I am looking into purchasing an Octavia vRS, hopefully in black, and i was just interested to know, do they all come with front fog lights??? I have read various adverts and seen various pictures, where some appear to have them and others don't.

Just looking for clarifaction on this issue. :confused:

I used to have mean front spot lights on my Lada Riva. I used to light the country up like football stadium lights :-). Still I was just a yougon then.

Only when it's foggy, or someone in front of me has their rear fog light on!

I did see a Fabia vRS driving round on sides'n'fogs though...make of that what you will...

the Octy vRS has fog lights built into the headlight clusters.

i've only flashed them on and off on the driveway so couldnt tell you how dazzling they are to on coming traffic.

Tell a lie, i flashed them to the back of someone yesterday morning that had their rear fog light on

Of the current Octavias only the classic doesn't have them.

I do a lot of driving on narrow twisty "B" roads with no markings and they're very useful to help you to see the edge of the road in the dark when there's an artic coming towards you. I tend to leave them on full time (with the dip or main beam) on a particular 15 mile stretch, and nobody has flashed me yet, so I'm guessing they're not too bright.

i got some 90/110 main bulbs for that purpose

melts dealer added rear window stickers at 50m
