Never boast about how good your car is

Featured Replies

or the next day things will go wrong with it

I'd just been telling a friend of mine how great the vRS was, when enroute to Manchester last Friday, the heaters packed up.

Having just had the rad replaced under warranty, I did brick it initially, but the coolant levels are okay, and the car was fine for the rest of the trip, albeit a little on the chilly side... thank God for heated seats!

So now I have to wait until next Tuesday, to have a warm car

It also seems to be stuttering a bit, which is strange - can this affect 54 plate cars?

Flap motors?

Flap motors?
Having just had the rad replaced under warranty,

......or air locked ?

:iagree:

Flap motors as said previous ! Fast moving fault in a parts department !! Thank god for cables on my Favorit heater switches,10 years and still working !

It started working again last night on the way home from work. Does this still tie in with what you helpful folk have suggested?

If so, is it a dashboard out job, to address the fault?

If it was an airlock, that will have been blown out now. When the car is properly cold, check fluid levels and top it up if needed
