Ipod plug retro fit to Audience sterio system

Featured Replies

:) Hello all. I have just purchsed a new Skoda 2.0FSI estate and am very pleased with it. As part of the purchase deal the dealer was to fit an I pod plug to the car but unfortunatly was unable to get it to work. Has any one had this modification added to their audience sterio system and if so did they have any issues with the process.

It might be something to do with the Aux in connector. Take a look at the pinouts and you'll the CD changer plug is wired slightly differently on MY2007 cars -

There are other issues but without knowing more detail then it's a bit hard to say.

Thanks stu. I am not very technical but just want to be able to use my ipod! Any clues I can feed back to the dealer would help. Apparently they have not yet done this mod on a Skoda in New Zealand yet.

The other problems I have heard of is the Earth not being properly connected or simply the unit being faulty.

I've just used the search and found that others have found it doesn't work on the Audience so perhaps you should contact Skoda directly.
