Flat spot ??

Featured Replies

I have a 1.8 20v Octavia and I noticed pretty early one that there seemed to be a flat spot around 2800-3000 rpm. Never thought much of it because you only noticed it if the engine was working hard, say accelerating up hill.

However recently I have thought on a couple of occasions that it has got worse, was pulling away the other day and it felt like I had taken my foot off the pedal for half a second , was quite savage.

Has anyone hear had this ? is it something I should worry about or should I just gets some sleep lol

Thanks for any advice
