Parrot Car Kits

Featured Replies

I have the 3400 GPS and have been well impressed with it, call quality is great easy to use and great for Sat Nav.

Like the way I can connect my phone for voice calls and also my Vario II PDA for the Sat Nav side at the same time.

I have had multiple phones paired with the 3400 and had no problem, other than having to repair a phone every now and then.

To date it has been used with:

Nokia 6310i

Nokia 6230i

Samsung E720

Samsung D900 (Current)

SE K750i

SE K800i

T-Mobile MDA Vario

T-Mobile MDA Vario II

LG Chocolate

Which is the reason I swapped to Parrot having been stitched by Nokia with a 610 Bluetooth Car Kit that support about 3 or 4 Nokia Phones only.

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about getting a Parrot, but i have one important question.

Can I use it to play music through the car speakers by using the "Play via Bluetooth" option on my nokia?

Reason I ask is that i can't afford to even think about a phatbox at the mo :( , so i'm thinking of using the phone (with a 1Gb card in it) - I know it works through a wired car kit, but that then ties me down to buying the 'right' phone in the future.

Has anyone else tried this (if it's possible) & if so whats the sound quality like?

All the phone tones etc get played through the handsfree kit, so I don't see why the music won't play through it as well.

Thats my theory to!

But before i go and spend the money, is there anyone out there with a Parrot kit & a nokia phone that could try it out for me please??

I've noticed Parrot have just brought out a MK6000, that gives you 'remote' control over music on ur phone, but it doesn't have a screen :thumbdwn:

If anyone could spare some time to check it for me it would be most apreciated.

Unfortunately the only phone I'm using at the mo is my Pebl, but playing MP3s I've saved in the media library plays through my handsfree.

Thanks Auroan

If it accepts it from a Moto, it should do it from a nokia.

Means I can have one with a screen & play music :D

Thanks again
