Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the empty slot under the CD changer in my Superbs boot is for?

My best guesses are for a DVD player, but any other insight would put my mind to rest.

One of the uses for the smaller slot under the CD Changer is the TV Tuner that you can buy from your local stealer and wire into your OEM Sat Nav DX unit.

My work colleague has got a ps2 in hers (for the kids) and also doubles up as a DVD player

Nothing more exciting than a first aid box in mine:(

My octy has two spare slots - I'm guessing you could put anything which fits into there, maybe an amp for additional speakers?

Mine has a wallet of CDs in there.

Was first and formost for the Navi 1 set up which didnt have a screen. Used a CD Drive in the boot and the central display in the dash.

There is a vertical slot on the right handside but the guys are talking about horizontal slots on the left hand side mate.

There seems to be two slots on the left hand side in mine, one above and one below. The one above is used for keeping a change of CDs. The one below seems to have a couple threaded holes that look like something could be mounted there. I wondered about a mini disc player. The bottom hole also seems to have a plastic bar running vertically approximately 1/3 of the length.

On the right hand side is a well type thing with an elasticated strap. It could be used for a first aid kit, but I use it for a picnic box when I'm on a long haul.

I am confident that the one with the threaded holes in is for the TV Tuner.
