Hi!

How do I remove the plastic cover that is inside the boot (on the inside of the door) of an Octavia sedan? Is it held by clips and you should only pull it out? If yes, where to start pulling to avoid breaking clips?

Or is held in another way.

Pull outwards on the end furthest from the window. Then push the whole thing up towards the window.

It worked well and by adding some lubricant and some minor adjustments the boot door seems to work smoothly. The problem was before that it did not open by the central locking system - only by using the key at the trunk.
