Superb? We'll see.

Featured Replies

hello.

picked up my superb today. One hour later, clunk, the drive had gone. Managed to coast into my drive (I was on my way home when it happened). So, I'll get the AA to tow it into the dealer and see what the problem is.

For the record, it's a 1.8T on a 53 plate. I've been gagging to drive it, too.

Anybody had a similar problem?

Ouch that's not good - hope you get it sorted soon

That sounds pretty bad but hope your dealer can get you back on the road soon.

It's broken o/s front outer CV joint. Guess I won't be driving it over Christmas then. The AA man was surprised, said Skodas are excellent and v. reliable - usually.

That's very unusual -- but very easy fix. You should then be free to enjoy the car.

It's back, all fixed by the dealer - Rainworth Motors - who were very helpful. Even leant me a Fabia, which is a fine car. I think it was a 1.2, but it certainly does the job, even with 5 on board.

Now I'll perhaps be able to enjoy my Superb.

Glad to hear it -- I'm sure you really love it.

Nice car and a very nice engine. Enjoy now it is fixed. :D

Highly unfortunate with that kinda failure, quickly sorted :D

You must be glad to have the Superb back again though as with 5 people in it, the Fabia is getting quite filled up ;)

Good job by the dealer involved :)
