Fabia boot release problem?Leaking footwells

Anyone had problems with the interior hatchback lever not releasing the hatchback. It sounds like it has worked and the hatch is loose and rattles but does not always allow it to open without someone pulling the hatch whilst someone else pulls the lever. Horners of Bury have farted about with it twice, or so they say, without any cure.

Constant leaking of water into rear footwells doorseals have been changed and water ingress tests have been done without a cure. Again by Horners of Bury but have taken for attenpts on this one!!!

Any suggestions gratefully received, if just to stop visiting the dealer

to fix the water leak on the rear doors you need to remove the door trims and locate a galzanised box on the inner door skin stick some silicone sealent around it and should solve your problems :D
