Main dealer prices for brake work

Featured Replies

What should I expect to pay a main Skoda dealer to replace pads all round and also discs at the front?

Does

I think the only thing you have to look out for at an Independant is that they have the right tool to wind back in the rear piston.....pushing it back in will knacker your rear caliper apparently.

Sorry don't know what it would cost at a dealer.

Thanks Adrian. I should have mentioned that I'd clocked that one already (thanks Steve!) - I'll make sure they know what they're doing on the back. Where did you get yours done?

Haven't done anything yet...waiting for my discs. I'll do the fronts myself. Not sure what I'm going to do about the rears......I'll have to check how much my dealer wants.

Did my rears myself.

You can, but its a lot easier with the wind back tool.

Ta.

When you come to do your fronts, let me know and I'll lend it to you.

Simon - try Volksline down Broad Oak road They are a good bunch, know their stuff (all ex-VW staff) and have very cheap labour rates.
