Suspension clunk at front of vRS solved

Locally we've a fine collection of speed humps - the ones you can straddle and, far worse, the ones that cover the whole width of the road. Unfortunately we have to travel several times daily on one particular road with tons of these damned things.

We've only had the car two weeks and we'd both noticed a clunk on the front when coming down off the 'wide' humps.

Great, I thought, front bushes going already.

Anyway, started going over the humps at dead on 20 mph and got less clunks. Once I got the very slightest of clunks so have reduced speed a tad more - result no clunks.

Now realise it's the underside front tapping the road. Duh, buy a car with lower suspension and what can you expect !

Glad I (eventually) sussed it though.
