Cluch pedal vibration

Featured Replies

hi i was on the motorway today doing around 70 -80 mph and i still had my foot resting on the clutch pedal just pressed down a tiny bit and i could feel it vibrating the brake is the same ,is this normal ? it dosen't happen at lower speeds though, just when the engine is above say 3,500 rpm ish

Mine does it when i push the pedal down a bit on my Octy vRS.

Well, the problem is clearly that you're resting your foot on a pedal that you're not using! ;)

Serious point: resting your foot on the clutch pedal when "just driving" is a good way of wearing out the clutch, and a similar argument applies to resting a foot on the brake pedal.
