Hello everyone,

A littler introduction for you all - my name's Donny (don't ask where the user name came from, it's a long story!), and I'm a Skoda virgin! I've yet to actually purchase a car, but looking for a Fabia vRS to quench my thirst for diesel torque! 'Reffro' suggested I take a look on the site and I must say you're all very passionate about the brand, which is encouraging.

My taste in all things automotive varies from week to week (as Reffro can testify - we work together, the poor *******!), owning many motors over the years, from a clapped-out 1.0 litre Polo to a modded new Focus ST (way too much to run, hence the need for diesel!). I currently schlep about in a Pug 306 GTi-6 which, whilst a great car to chuck around the twisties, just isn't torquey enough for my desires, and it's also a little long in the tooth now, so a Fabia is next on my shopping list! I've always like them, and now with my daily commute being a fair distance, the time has come to take the plunge into dieseldom.....
