As you can probably guess I'm new hence the post in this section! It's a straight swap for me, with your member StevRS joining my home forum at Smartmaniacs (See my signature for a smart like mine) and me joining here.

First off my car history. 1st car (due to cheapness) was a 51reg Proton Satria 1.6 Lxi. 2nd car was an 05reg Smart Roadster complete with numerous faults which was sent back. 3rd car was a 55reg Renault Clio RenaultSport 182 which lasted until I ran out of cash. 4th was a 53reg Renault Megane 130 DCi which lasted until I got bored (not long). 5th and current was a 53reg Smart Roadster which I love but there's a baby on the way and now the Smart is going to be replaced by a 51reg (ish) Octavia 1.8t Elegance.

Long term plans are a new sportier exhaust, spoiler, lowered suspension, black and green respray (MG Racing style) and Revo tuning (not necessarily in that order and note the long term part, those watching this space could do so for a while!).

By joining this site I hope to take away your knowledge of the Octavia and in particular advice on the mods I've listed above and if anyone wants any advice on legal issues (I'm a copper) I'll answer if I know and find out for you if I don't.
