What size wheels on new 4x4?

Featured Replies

I always thought that on the 4x4 Tdi it was 15" and that there wasn't an option for any other size as I hadn't seen it listed in the options list. I was looking on some Skoda main dealers web sites and saw one with 16" and another with 17". These were both only a few months old with a few hundred miles so hadn't been replaced due to wear.

Are other sizes available as options?

The car comes with 15" alloys as standard.

There is a factory option to upgrade to 16" Apollon alloys.

If you've seen a car advertised on 17" alloys these will have been fitted by the dealer.

Hi John

Thanks for the reply. I haven't seen the option for the 16" on the list so I assume it's a special order?

Could be a dealer fit option, the Skoda accesories brochure has up to 18"s in it.

Andy,

My used 2005 4x4 TDI came with 16" Apollon alloys - fitted by the dealer I understand.

Thinking of getting a set of 15" steel wheels to fit winter treads to (I know it's a bit late given that it's snowing at the mo!)
