Can anyone recommend software for tracking time spent on jobs. It's for up to 10 employees and covering around 500 jobs. I need to be able to print out profiles of hours spent on individual jobs and the type of hours at each stage (eg pre-contract, contract, post-contract etc)

Prefferably something that is free, has a free trial or is just cheap. Can't get the bosses to put their hand in their pockets but the pressure is increasing on me to get something sorted.

You need a CRM package. We use Ulysses CRM, made by this crowd..

They come in and tailor the system to your needs. Its a little expensive, but a very versitile program.
