Octavia Combi - Grey anthracite / beige and brake noise

Featured Replies

For those who want to buy an Octavia and never have seen the grey anthracite color or the beige color inside, I have attached 2 photos from my Octavia Combi 1,9 TDI bought last October 2006. It has now 5000Kms.

By the way, did anybody noticed an occasional and hard metalic noise comming from the front brakes? It's real strange and I assure you that brake pads are not worn out.

The closest Skoda Dealer is far from home so I didn't have oportunity to go there, yet.

I'll appreciate some comments to this strange situation?

Rgds,

Stone stuck between the splash guard and disc?

Does the brake pedal 'feel' different also when you hear the grinding noise? Your ABS could be working for whatever reason. I find mine to be quite keen, activating whilst braking over wet drain covers and such.
