Mint 55 plate fab vrs

Featured Replies

Coming back from Cheltenham on the shurdington rd couple days ago mint red 55 plate for

I saw that one too - it's opposite the pub. I drove past it in my red vRS!! It looked in good condition and at £9995 it's potentially a good price (depending on mileage of course).

How do the red Fabias hold up? Every other red car I've owned faded quite badly and needed regular polishing to keep the pink away.

There is a red Fabia non-vrs on a W plate on the site I am on. Looks fabulous! Paint doesn't appear to have aged at all and the plastics are great as well. I have seen quite a few good examples of older Fabias and you can't tell the age without looking at the reg.

As with all red cars i expect they need to have a little bit more tlc than other colours...

Mines got the diamondbright treatment, which I have to say I'm very impressed with. I used the conditioner about once a month and so far the paint looks as good as new. The diamondbright stuff also makes it very easy to clean the car. I will report back in a couple of years to see how well it lasts!

The VAG paint is pretty tough, decent amount of clear coat to it, so there shouldn't be too many of the traditional red fading problems. I'd still keep up some preventative maintenance on it though, by applying polish and wax perhaps twice a year. That way it should definitely stay looking decent.
