hi just bought my first skoda a 51 plate octavia vrs in black, just one problem you might be able to help me with, came out to the car the other day and found it unlocked thought nothing of it at the time as can be forgetful! locked it back up using the remote for it to unlock itself 2 minutes later and then all locking motors would run but not activate the door lock buttons for about 2 minutes, had to remove the fuse and lock all doors manually has anyone had a similar fault?

Welcome to Briskoda

Not had that fault and not heard of it to date. Someone else might be able to give you a pointer soon.

Welcome to Briskoda,

It seems from a quick search that several people have had problems with the central locking

see here and here for some examples. Corrosion seems to be the main culprit :(

(If you type octavia central locking into the search box you'll find several other similar threads)

Good luck with solving the problem !
