thanks spevie

Should be fuse 33 and 34, both 5 amp.

Just checked the wiring diagram and the above diagram is correct.

Well i checked them and both OK, still no FRONT side lights, mind you i did have some blue ones in but changed them back to originals, maybe they are broke......will buy new ones today and see.

Update on flashing pod lights, messed about at the weekend with wire checking, i checked the rear light cluster wires and it seemed to resolve the flashing lights or so i thought, whent out last night in car and all ok, got in this morning and back to same old flashing n beeping........it was cold........

This is the really bug bear. if i stay below 2k revs theres is no beeping, as soon as it hits 2k then it beeps whether driving or just revving in neutral......does anyone think this could be an alternatore problem, like when it trys to charge the battery its finding an error..........

Gonna book it into an auto electrican today, had enough.......

Can anyone recommend anyone in the west yorkshire area, if i can find one thats worked on skodai fabia before then better chance of finding the fault.....

Any help appreciated.

PS, i have a multimeter, can anyone tell me the settings i need and how to check the battery voltage when normal and when engine running on tickover then revving. what are the numbers i should get.........

Thanks to all, Spevie
