skoda fabia electric windows

Featured Replies

can anyone help please, i have a fabia comfort year 2000.

i removed the battery to charge it as it only does local runs.

on replacing it, i have found that when i press down fully the switch on either front electric window, i have to hold them down until fully open, this did not happen before, i used to just push down the switch and release it and the window would travel to fully open, or vice versa to fully closed if the switch was pulled up.

this happened once before when giving the battery a recharge, it seemed to right itself without any intervention.

i am curious why this happens and is there a simple remedy to cure this ??.

The windows "one touch" needs reset.:)

Put the key in the drivers door, turn it and keep it turned until the window lowers fully. Once the window is down turn the key fully in the opposite direction and raise the window fully & the windows should now be working on "one touch".
