i currently have the earlier version, in conjunction with a lead off ebay( usb at one end).

really dumb question,:confused: which version(409.1) do i download, i don't understand serial or twin usb, so any help would be great.

After market USB interfaces are generally nothing more than a dumb serial interface with a built-in Serial<->USB converter. They emulate a serial port and won't work with our USB driver. So you want the serial version.

well down loaded the version you suggested, and nothing works now. can i revert back to the earlier version 311, without any more problems, the car has a fault with the keys and i need to get it mobile again as my wife is no the kidney transplant list and could get acall at any time.
