Awesome sunrise this morning

Featured Replies

If only I'd got up a bit earlier then I could have gone outside and got some decent shots with silhouetted hills etc, but I had to make do with the view from the bedroom window.

Sadly the colours have lost something with the shrinking to an appropriate forum size. The yellow streak is much more pronounced on the originals.

Very beautiful. Ive seen some gorgeous sun rises and sets while driving past the sea to work. Unfortunately I'm always running right on or behind schedule, so would never have time to pull over and take pics. Maybe one day...............

 ....and this in your 'Profile'

Location: Up north where the sun don't shine

Nice :)

Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning. ;) Been raining all day? :D

Great pics.

Heh. The sun shone a little yesterday, but it didn't rain :)

It's only a couple of weeks since I'd be watching the sun come up over Bowland while driving to work and thinking "Should I peel off here and go get some pics?" And now the sun is rising before I leave the house... does that mean summer is coming?!

We get some cracking sunsets over Morecambe Bay. Should be able to photograph some as the days get longer.

Lovely pics!

Nice picture...

Reminds me of one I took some time ago of a sunset... see if I can find it...

Ah ha here we go, it was taken with a pretty naff digital camera some time ago.. but I still like it...
