I have only done 11000 miles ........... anyway I have

decided to have it done by one of my customers who is

VAT registered and an IMT . I will be supplying the parts

so can someone please tell me what needs to be bought ??

I will be buying genuine skoda parts ....I would think probably

oil filter

sump plug

sump plug washer

I use millers XFEPD 5/40

have done a search for annual inspection sheet and service tick sheet

but not found anything .... can anyone help with this .......

Bought ours with 15,800 miles, nearly three years old.

Anyway, at 12,500 (2 years) brake fluid had been changed as part of Skoda proscribed servicing ritual (serious overkill in my and 'mechanics' opinion).

Bump:)

20k /2 year service , parts required , oil filter , sump bung , 4.3 ltr of oil and a pollen filter , brake fluid change required also

you could also change the air filter as this will be pretty much caked in ****e ,and wont do any harm if changed early

I have just contacted pilling skoda, milton keynes who have told me that for a 20K service it will be £294 which includes an annual inspection which has to be completed inorder to not invalidate the warrenty.

I explained that the 10k and annual service was completed in sept 06, I was told this didnt matter and its part of the skoda service schdule to complete an annual inspection at the 20K mark.

Does anyone know if this is right as it seems slightly strange to me. Also i think that £294 is quite expensive, what have others paid for a 20k service???? and have you had just an oil and filter change

Thanks

seems fine.

if you don't get Skoda servcing your car, you only get 2 years warrenty

Then called another dealer who said this is rubbish, 20K would be £102 and would include a 45 min inspection to check exhaust, brakes etc.

and would not void warranty, so i guess you take yr chances
