Well i've got a question. I've bought a new Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI Ambiente.

She arrived last week but i've got some question. My car has not Stream audio like i needed but Melody. Can i change from Melody to Stream Audio?

The other question is that can i install ArmRest at my Octavia

Pls give me an answer.

Pritty sure you could add the centr armrest with the right parts. But the radio is a different story. The Octavia has multiplex wiring (CAN Bus) if you change the radio this may need to dealer to programm the ecu thats its a different radio or it can play havock with the electrics.

The Stream should swap ok with the Melody you have.

The armrest is very expensive but could be fitted if you have the parts. If you want to include the MP3 socket then you'll need the later Stream MP3.

Can you direct me to an online source where i can get the armrest parts to be fitted back in my country (South East Asia). My local dealer (the one and only one), is not very resourceful, so getting the parts might be very difficult thru them. Thanks.

You'll simply need the part numbers from ETKA or ETOS which your dealer should have.

You need the centre console, the armrest, the hinge and the new vents for the back as well as some fixings.
