Help with selling my vRS to get a new...vRS..!

Featured Replies

I have had my '06 vRS for a little under a year now from new, it has done just over 10,000 miles and is booked in for a service in a week.

I have the option through my job to get a lease car at a very good rate (there has to be some perks in working for the NHS!), and if i sold my current vRS it would give me a good chance to add to my "deposit-on-a-house" fund and then replace it with a new Furby vRS on a lease.

My main question is, i have been looking around on various price guides and would like to know what you guys/girls think i could get for it. As mentioned above its an '06 plate, first registered at the end of March. It has done just over 10,000 miles, is in Black Magic and has cruise control fitted. Its immaculate apart from a very small scratch on the very very bottom of the sill below the front passenger door and ONE stone chip on the bonnet!

Have taken good care of it as it was my very first car from new, never had any problems which is one reason i am replacing it with the same model! All standard, not modded or anything in any way.

So, how much do you think i should get for it? And is it worth trying to sell it privately or should i try and flog it to a garage or something? Do Skoda buy back cars?!

Thanks in advance :)

some dealers will buy cars without selling one to you , you've just got to go and ask , go back to your original selling dealer and ask them , it can't do any harm

you will probably get more money selling it private though

Hi,

Go to the Parkers Guide web-site and this will give you a value for private and trade, also look at the prices on Parkers Guide and Autotrader to give you an idea of the value of your car. As a rough guide a private sale will be around
