Fair enough then, as far as I am aware the only things I don't have in comparison to the elegance would be Sunroof, tilting mirror when in reverse, folding mirror's, leather heated seats and chrome trim, everything else I have on mine?!?!?

Electric adjustable seats, drivers with memory.

Aircon in rear, goes with the Electrically heated rear seats, best of both worlds

I believe there are a few trim differences as well, chromed lower window frames

17" alloys as std.

You also get that "lovelly !!" timber trim

Without a brochure to hand I cant think of any others, either way they are all exceptionally well kitted out for the money.

I was with someone at the weekend on the trunnel run who said they should have bought the Merc, they gave them a brolly with that, still had to chuck it in the boot though, I wish Id had the Superb with me to show him a touch of class !!

Though new to forum i am a bit of a skoda nut, had an octavia and soon getting another 2.5 elegance but auto, will be my third that i own but fourth one driven for any length of time. Had a 1.9 130,2.5 manual and 2.0 140. Of the bunch 2.5 handles and rides the best , absolutely loved it , the 140 imo is awful comparatively speaking but amazing fuel consumption. I get the elegance coz of toys for not much more than a new base model as I buy 6 months old.In spite of depreciation is an absolute bargain for quality, i drive a lot of cars at work but superb as an overall package is one of best and having had a lesser make disintegrate on t boning me one of the most solid- accepting minor niggles like sat nav flexibility really a steal. However if i can get it to look like baker21s would be even happier!!!!!

For Skoda I found autoebid the best and have bought 4 cars from them (Superb and 3 Toyotas). The price does move up and down as it reflects the last price someone got the car at. You can put your own target price in and I would strongly suggest people do that & I would push for no more than

Sorry to hijackthe thread but a quick question for Baker21 if you dont mind - are there any grills from audi/vw with fogs/ spots in that fit the two grills in the superb front bumper as I am getting a black car and thought it might set it of well.

As I work for Hella, I have looked into this and I am afraid that there isn't anything that would fit directly.

I had a grille kit for my Bora with Micro DE Xenon's and you could technically get them to fit into the Superb Grille's but it would be a DIY job.

We have just released some LED Day-Time Running lamps similar to those seen on the RS6 and I am looking into Retro Fitting some of these into the Superb Grille's for my next mod, watch this space....

I've agreed to buy a 06 1.9 130 Superb Elegance in Titan Gray with 34k on it, will pick it up on Sunday.

Had a look at the 100 Edition, couldn't quite justify the extra
