Anyone know when the new Superb is due to be launched and due on sale in the UK / Ireland?

I don't know about you folks, but I'm pretty sure I'd class this as a hatchback:

Just a thought, but this isn't getting mixed up with the next generation Octavia is it?

I have been told it's due here the back end of next year, as i am in two minds as to get the new L&K model now or wait for the new one next year.

I read in Autocar few weeks ago that it will be Nov 2008 in the UK.

yeah - dealer has told me the same - apparently getting some big engines, must admit twin exhausts and wood all round a la phaeton looks the biz, thats mine going for part ex in 15 months then !!!

Maybe and perhaps it will have LED rear light

Sorry, those are obviously NOT pictures of the new Skoda Superb!

This is obvious because:

a) the new superb does not have quarterlights separate from the rear doors (neither did the old one)

B) that's realistically far too luxurious for a Superb!

It takes only a moments thought and a google check to see that they're pictures of the current generation Audi A8, see below:

(I'm sure the interior of the new superb will be pretty nice though, judging by the leaked pics of the front.)
