Had a Mark II L&K and now have an 07 VRs. Three initial difference I cant explain and because its a company car I don

1) On L&K when I switched on ignition there was an annoying beep until I put on my seat belt, in the VRs no noise!!

It's there, just not switched on.

2) On L&K when I used the cruise control there was no indication light on the dash, in the VRs I get a yellow speedo light thing!!

3) On L&K when I locked using the key fob just got flashing indicators, on VRs I get a beep as well!!

Again it's there just wasn't switched on in the L&K when you had it.

I thought the seat belt beeps where part of the safty legal requirement!! What about side lights , only get main light on indication can this be switched on?

You will get seat belt bleeps when you go above 20mph in your VRS. My MK1 L&K used to beep on ignition - v. annoying. My VRS is much more easy on the ears...
