Hi all, i have been having problems with a cd player i had fitted ( clarion ). It has been sent back twice but the manufactures wont change it as they say they cant find a fault.

I have been told that some makes of stereo are not compatable with skoda's, is this correct.

Cd keeps freezing wont play, eject but radio will work. Does it mainly when engine turned off for few minuites return switch on then its froze, have to turn stereo and car off for least 10 mins then it resets its self.

It sounds like the unit requires a constant 12v feed to keep the memory up.

you might need to re wire the ice plugs check out the diagram on Vrstu's website and cross ref that with what is required by your head unit.

you can get connectors from halfords / maplin etc.

thanks for the info, will check into it although wiring has been checked. But not sure about the constant feed may be that
