Hi guys,

I've been trying to get of the door handle on my fabia (driver side). Because the cable between the outside door handle and the door lock has been pulled out and I can't get it back in without removing the handle. I think I need to slide it to the lockside and pull it off but it doesn't come off and I'm afraid to break it.

Anyone had experience with this?

Meanwhile I'll be searching the forum.

I didn't take it off:) My problem was the little cable so using a torx key (I believe T15) I unmounted my keylock and then it was a piece of cake putting it back but my guess is once you take the barrel out you can just slide the handle to the side and take it out.

I wasnt needing it, I just think its a good idea to post solutions so that if someone comes along and does a search for drivers door handle and finds this thread then they have an answer :P
