Just wondered if anyone has experienced 'noisy brakes' on a fabia. My 2.0 has just been serviced and nothing was noted but the brakes can be extremely noisy. It makes the same grinding sound as when a car has been stood for a long time. I have tried braking fairly hard to 'skim off' anything on the surface but it has not made any difference. Any thoughts?

Ask workshop to to clean off the brake dust. Works on mine.

My brake discs just kend to squeek under braking, but I'm not that bothered with it. It seems to be weather related.
