Hi there.

My existing car is a VW Passat and is coming up to 3 years old so I am looking to change. The new Passat is too big for my garage space and is a lot of money.

Looking around what is available, having considered a Jetta, the Octavia matched all my requirements. Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with my nearest Dealer who couldn't get the arrangements for an extended test drive sorted out properly.

Do I look for another dealer or do go for the Mazda 6?

the mazda 6 is a very good car!!! it's basically a ford mondeo underneath!

dont they offer really good extended warranty etc??

As with any manufacturer, you will find good and bad dealers.

If you can post up an idea of your location, hopefully someone can recommend a good dealer in your area.
