Just been doing some logs and the maf readings at 4920rpm is 136.56g/s

Is this any good or should i rev it higher to get the full speed reading

I couldn't go any higher this morning as i was on my way to work on the m4

Peak MAF readings will be at the RPM where you're making the most HP, probably closer to 6000 than 5000. It is not necessary to do this in top gear. 3rd will do quite nicely. But you do need to have the loud pedal all the way down to get a meaningful numbers.
