Dragon / MrHoot VAG compatibility (VRS / Leon / etc)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm currently waiting for a response from "MrHoot" via. email, but thought i'd ask here in the interim (as i've been waiting a week! haha)...

After being offered various bad deals from Skoda garages on a part-ex (primarily for ltd edition VRS, closely followed up by any other car I happened to mention!) it appears I am to leave the Skoda fold :(

have found a good (no, in fact its a really good deal!) on a Seat Leon 150bhp FR, which i've read in the past is just a re-tuned 130bhp engine that the fabia VRs uses (my current car)...

What i'm wondering is, is my Dragon Performance box likely to be transferable over to the SEAT?

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers :)

The box will be transferrable (the Leon is a diesel right? ;)), but I suspect you'll want Dragon to put the correct map on it for the car. If it's one of the newer USB-key boxes, you can simply send off the key, or buy one with a new map on it, otherwise I think you need to send the box back to them for reflashing :D

I "spoke" to them using the live help button on their website and got an immediate response - maybe worth a try

cheers Andy - just did that :)

They do indeed need to remap it for the 150bhp ;)

£79 to return, plus £7.95 for them to post it back to me...

still waiting for the insurance company to get back to me so may all be irelevant anyways!
