Hello there all

Featured Replies

Hello to you all, My name is Doug and I have only recently passed my test, luckily I managed to get hold of a second hand 1.4 Skoda Fabia Hatch on an '53 plate for only £4,500 is that good?

I am looking forward to learning lots from this forum and I have already enjoyed reading a few of the threads.

I do have a question, someone said to me that my car was a 100HP version of the Fabia and was wondering if this was true... would explain the insurance...

All I can tell you (due to the fact that I am new to this) Is that it is a Skoda Fabia 1.4 HPI and I think it is a 16V In Blackmagic paint. Is it really 100HP?

Many thanks and have a good one all,

DUGGIE

hpi?????? do you mean mpi?? the mpi ones aren't 16v

lets see apic of your engine then we may be able to clear this matter up for you!

Hi Doug.

There are 100hp 1.4 engines out there; OTOH you've also admitted to being a "new driver", and the first year I had my own car was the year I paid most for insurance too.

What is the Horsepower? Many thanks

:ne_nau: but i bet sombody on here knows

68 springs to mind, although that's rather rubbish given that a then basically 30 year old design with a monopoint injection and EMS was giving 75 10 years back.

Hmm, 68BHP, nice... or not that nice, well, time for a tune to begin then...
