Any ideas as to the part numbers for front / rear shocks on a 2.0 fsi sport (55 reg).

Also , are vrs discs a straight swap, as the dealer said the only difference caliper wise is that they are green..... or red....or whatever colour they are now.

Shame they left the rest unpainted as they are close to impossible to keep nice...

Your dealer will give you the correct part numbers for the shock absorbers based on the cassis number of your car.

What difference does make if they disks are vRS or not - are they different to yours?

My local dealer are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Parts bloke wasn't sure what struts I needed.

Only reason I wanted to know was that someone has a set of front vrs discs and greenstuff pads going cheap......

FYI Kwikfit have quoted for supply and fit front struts, with balance

If they are disks and pads from a MK1 vRS then no they won't be any good to you. The MK1 is 5x100 PCD and the MKII 5x112 PCD.

I understand the parts on offer are from an octy2 vrs...and are new..... if they fit they might be ok, though greenstuffs do eat the discs a tad quickly..
