Parts advice for a newbie

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was in the Skoda dealer's today, and asked about the iPod lead for My Octi (late 2005 2.0 Tdi), but they said it couldn't be fitted as there was no hole in the glovebox for it. I had a nose in the showroom new ones and couldn't see any hole either (or a pop out panel etc).

The dealer didn't sound too sure about this, so I was wondering if anyone knows how to fit this rather useful sounding doohickey.

Also, con someone tell me where I might get a bluetooth kit for a Stream head unit, as that would sort me out very nicely.

Cheers in anticipation,

Farmer

If this isn't the best solution, what would anyone recommend for playing an iPod through the Stream HU ?

The Ipod kit can be fitted to the car without issue. Just dealers lack of knowledge.

Any BT phone kit should wire into the headunit and utilise the mute as well as sound through the speakers.

ive got my cable running under the centre trim and into the jumbo box. didnt see much point in putting it in the gloveox
