New to Skoda, and this Forum!

Featured Replies

I've just signed up to this brill forum, so I thought I'd say hello to everyone!

I do have a question already though...

I'm picking up my new Octavia VRS TDi in April, but I was told by told by the dealer that you can't fit mudflaps th this model. The arched look a bit different to the rest of the Octavias, but knowing very little about Skoda generally, I was wondering if this is correct.

I'm looking forward to getting it. I've only driven the 140ps TD, but I have driven the new Seat with the same 170ps engine. It was great! I'm sure the Octavia will be just as good (or better)

Thanks

Ian

Thanks. I've just found another thread on flaps, and looks like you have to fit those ones off ebay. I've seen the blue rally style ones and they look a bit naff. I'd like to know if anyone has fitted black ones, and if they have pics.

Cheers

Ian

Hello and welcome.

The user CHRIS_ELLIS has them fitted to his RS so it can be done.

Hi and welcome.

I have 06 plate Octy II vRS TFSI bought from stealer 2 months ago. when buying I saw their demo vRS (in race blue) had mudflaps fitted so I negotiated a set for my car as part of the deal (mudflaps are black). collected the car with them fitted and they look v good.

Thanks guys. My dealer (Underwoods in Colchester) is saying Skoda don't make a flap that fits the VRS, but some of you have them! Can anyone put me in touch with a dealer that has actually fitted some?

Thanks
