Good morning everyone, this is my first time on this site although I have browsed it recently due to the dreaded VAG tubro cutting out out on my Octavia estate 1.9tdi 90BHP on an 04 plate. had to settle for the dealer fitting a new turbo out of warranty(62000 miles). However after talking to those nice people at Skoda assistance the bill was halved due to the fact I had always had skoda dealer service! so never take NO for an answer. The car is now running as good as new and no more restarting the ignition to get the turbo back from limp mode. Dewsbury to Guildford yesterday at 60.1 mpg, when the tubro was playing up I would only get 51 mpg. Anyway the car is good again so I will now upgrade to the 105bhp new model.
